Seven Years Later

Wow, just like that, I found my own blog after completely forgetting about it.  Lots of things have happened since then.  Most of it can be summed up in one word: Mahjong.  Yep, the mahjong life has been great and much fun was had.  Though, constant immersion of mahjong does take its toll, as I had been involved with the game not just by playing the game.  I am literally living it.  In any case, it is time I open up myself on a more personal level with this game, through here.

Many things have changed since my last post, and I am better for it.  My greatest revelation last year during Anime Central 2018: I like myself.  I thank much of this to my interaction with people via mahjong.

Moving forward, I will look to note various insights to mahjong living.

I saw this mark on one player before, but I did not know what it was.  Now I do.  Majsoul staff have the privilege of marking players with a "verification mark".  This mark comes in the form of a gold paw as shown here next to my username: To simply put, my general activity was notice.  My activity in the Majsoul discord as well as frequent play went into account.  My participation in the first Catfood Bowl came to play; and finally, the work done on the Majsoul Tournament Guide. My First "Houou" Game: Review 1

Technically, I was playing in tokujou.  However, why were these three 7dans entering my game at the same time?  Either way, I was glad to get this opportunity to get a sample of an " actual houou " game.  I have faced games with three R2000's before; but usually, they were 6dans.  So, this felt much different. Now, unlike my Twitter post , I am looking to cover this game more indepth to see what I could learn from it.  As a note, comments with each respective image is below the image - not above. It is unfortunate, but I did my part lightening up the place in there.  However, that was not enough.  Instead, I ended up with multiple infractions that render this ban.  After all, it is their house, their rules: Am I guilty of these infractions?  Yes.   Was it my intention to trigger this ban?  No. For the record, this is the list of infractions: June 14, 2020: Case ID: 257 Posting a borderline NSFW image of Hisa.
